Sisters In Christ: “Finding Our Common Thread” is an opportunity for every woman in our church to find a spiritual partner, someone to pray with, encourage and receive encouragement from, and mutually be supported during our daily walk with the Lord. Hey everyone, it’s our month for Crossroads. Come and join us. Remember our ministry there is not just a hot meal, but it also includes some warm conversation with the folks there for dinner. This month we will be bringing Clam Chowder, Chicken Noodle Soup, Cornbread & Rolls and Dessert for the Saturday night meal. Sign-up for food at the Welcome Center and mark the date now; Saturday, February 27

The CEFC Cruisers are having a Bunco night on Friday, Feb. 26 at 6:30 p.m. at Tom and Judy Dewar’s home. Each person should bring a white elephant gift and a dessert. For more details contact Tom and Judy at 257-7947.

Twenty-four of us had a great time at our Christmas Potluck. It included caroling at the Country Villa Rehab and Healthcare Center, and then to four of our shut-ins. We finished at the Youngs’ home with hot chocolate and cookies. Our first event of the New Year will be on Sunday, February 14. Please join us for a wonderful catered dinner at the Monticola Club. We will begin at 5:00PM, so don’t be late. The price is $15 per person for a tasty tri-tip dinner with all the fixin’s. Although it’s Valentine’s Day, don’t feel intimidated if you are single. This is for everyone, and we’ll have a great time. Because it is catered, we need to know how many are coming, and we need you to pay in advance. Sooooo, PLEASE sign up at the Welcome Table.
